Mohammad Muntakim

Mohammad A. Muntakim is a proud Detroiter and a student at Wayne State University. He is working toward pursuing a career in medicine with the hopes of raising the standards of healthcare in his community.

Muntakim also shares a passion for community organizing and engagement, which he hopes to utilize to impact the Muslim community of Detroit. With the support of his community, Muntakim launched DMYC at the end of 2021.

During his free time, Muntakim enjoys turning his thoughts into poems, playing sports with his brothers, spending time with his family, and relaxing near large bodies of water.
