Nishat Rahman

My name is Nishat Rahman, I’m 16 years old, and I’m a rising senior at Al-Ikhlas Training Academy. I love volunteering and helping out whenever there’s an open slot. I have some experience being this environment, through my schools student council, and from following my sister around when she would participate in activities like DMYC. I find myself to be a nice and easy to talk to person, which is what our community needs; A safe space with no judgment. I hope to be that change through my time with DMYC. I’m so excited to work with my team this summer and see the difference in our community through our work.
